My network router recommendation @protectli + @Dasharo_com firmware + @opnsense or @ipfire if you want Linux. IMO Linux is far ahead of FreeBSD in the mitigation space so IPFire + hardened kernel is attractive but OPNSense webUI and ancillary security features (e.g. 2FA) are 👌
