With the move away from ISC to dnsmasq by default in @OPNsense 25.7, that has single-handedly makes all of my OPNsense guides which include DHCP configuration obsolete. Haha. Eventually I’ll get everything updated. I’ve been digging into the details for upcoming guides.

All production tests complete. All systems go for @opnsense 25.7
For those using #zenarmor on @opnsense: Initial update tests are looking good. Having said that, 25.7 is a major release, please postpone your upgrade until we confirm everything is nice and tidy. #Zenarmor #OPNsense #PlugAndSecureAnywhere #AdvancedPersistentProtection

@OPNsense has added a CSV export for static DHCP mappings for each interface under ISC DHCP in OPNsense 25.7 that works for importing into *both* Kea and dnsmasq to help make migration to either DHCP service easier.
