Hi friends and colleagues, I'm deleting the Twitter app from my phone today. I'm over the politics of the place. Just a final request to legume growers to complete our GRDC sponsored survey about your knowledge and current practice re inoculation. Thanks! And farewell.

We'd like to hear from legume growers across Australia about inoculation practice to help us design relevant research. Should take 15 minutes or so; and we'll send out GRDC guides to inoculation to interested participants. Please share/retweet. Thankyou!

We're looking to improve N fixation in pulse crops to help grain growers increase crop productivity & reduce reliance on N fertiliser. Focusing on developing superior N-fixing bacteria (rhizobia) strains for chickpea & reviewing the opportunity for improvement in mungbean. 👉

At times when COVID numbers are increasing, allowing infectious people to mingle freely at work and socially will create epidemic growth and make the crisis even worse.

World record: South Australia (population 1.8m) runs for a week on 100% renewable energy, a record for similar energy grids anywhere Don't believe Big Oil (and politicians in their pockets) when they say 100% renewables can't be done https://t.co/94RH05WZsx

Rapid sampling!
Needed soil sampling system that was accurate, fast and easy in the hard clays we have. This took me 30mins to make and about $80 in materials. The auger bit was $65 of that. Credit to Oklahoma State Uni for the idea ( https://t.co/LIZmVZiCnT). Right fert in the right place.
