Think that’s the version of Ace Bailey that can be super successful, and why I loved the idea of Ace in Utah pre-draft. Will Hardy is awesome at scheming guys loose. Minimize the handle, and maximize his shot-making ability versus his ability to get loose as a ballhandler early.

🚨 ATTN. New Jersey: MIKIE SHERRILL… - Refuses to commit that she won’t raise New Jersey’s sales tax. - Her plan will “cost you an arm and a leg, but if you’re a good person, YOU’LL DO IT.” As Governor, Mikie Sherrill will make YOU PAY! Vote AGAINST her on 11/4.

I’ve watched Rockets-Jazz finally. Think the big thing that stood out for Ace Bailey is that they had a plan to get him loose, something Rutgers struggled with last year. Think I counted four halfcourt dribbles on his makes. Love that they’re running him off of actions.

Even beyond Vladdy, they PAID UP. It's largely been a bust, given they gave Santander 5/92M and Scherzer 15M and even took the Gimenez deal. Plus the Hoffman deal. As a Pirates fan, I'm basically in on the teams that are willing to invest even if those specific moves don't work.

Think the coolest part about this (beyond the fact that Fox has basically found the MLB equivalent of Inside the NBA with this show) is this: Toronto INVESTED this year. They GAVE Vladdy the 14/500M deal. They paid their guy. And now their fans have an all-time moment.

These ones are also funny. Had Shaedon right around where they took him pre-draft. My take since then has always been "incredible athlete/talent, let's see him shoot consistently/defend." Like, this feels like a pretty good eval!
@Sam_Vecenie Nah nigga stay on that side yall be talking all that shit let’s be consistent

lol tweets like this are so funny. Hear me out: maybe I did not watch Jazz-Rockets yet? Things I'm currently working on: early draft guide stuff (already ~30k words written), planning a podcast tomorrow, watching other draft tape. Just happened to find some time for GSW-POR.
@Sam_Vecenie So you’re not going to say anything about Ace Bailey? You guys don’t seem to be taking the L gracefully.

Thought Shaedon Sharpe’s game was super impressive in the first half. Got to his spots with real pace and poise. Was great going slow to fast. Really liked the floater game.

Also, important note: Since Don Rea sang Lose Yourself on Saturday Night of the Ryder Cup at an event, Team USA is up 8.5 to 3.5 in points. Don Rea singing Lose Yourself karaoke must be a yearly tradition at the Ryder Cup. https://t.co/DH8IkefBoe
We have obtained video of PGA President Don Rea singing Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” on Saturday night of the Ryder Cup as the USA trailed 11.5-4.5, as first reported by @trlkershaw.

This man must be protected at all costs. This former umpire must be given the PGA President job for life. He is a content machine and we need him around forever.

I don't think Giannis steps into media stuff thinking about ulterior motives or strategies as he speaks. Think he just answers the questions. It's kinda refreshing honestly? Does that answer suck for Milwaukee fans that he leaves the door open? For sure. But it's not new info.

Think Giannis is just kind of a non-strategic guy when he does these pressers, to be honest. Kinda just took his media stuff today as him saying he made a decision to be in Milwaukee this year, he'll be there and play hard. We'll see in the future. https://t.co/fuOZTO8nyH

I'm just starting to catch up on preseason NBA basketball but this thing just completely broke my brain with how smoothly Cade caught this and hit the reverse. This is insane.

Another day, another Mikel Brown Jr. video. This one really gets at the passing and playmaking ability that he'll bring to Louisville this year. Dropped 20 points and eight assists in a super competitive game vs. Canada at the U19s. https://t.co/iPcvpHQM2T

I think my biggest thing with the Giannis/Knicks stuff is...why now? He's clearly not moving right before the season. Not sure it makes sense to start pressuring the Bucks by leaking stuff right now from anyone's side here. Just very strange timing on it all.

Did a video breakdown on Mikel Brown Jr., a dude that I think is going to have a monster season on an awesome Louisville team. Potential top-10 pick, was awesome at U19s for Team USA. This one against France, where he had 24 points and 4 assists. https://t.co/Io4at0ycEb

(believe the first 15 or so minutes are unlocked on this so you'll be able to get my overall thoughts and some of the video stuff if you're not a subscriber. Will have another Brown video coming later this week. I'm interested in him as a prospect, for sure.)
