Can't believe we tricked the US gov into supporting Ethereum. Ethereum is a platform for uncensorable US dollars, unstoppable trading, and unbreakable privacy. It's far more dangerous to the state than Bitcoin. But the politicians don't realize it. Well done.

If you subtract the 35% unallocated MON, Monad's only worth $1.3B. Monad Foundation has ~$400M cash, and insider unlocks are a year away. Plus, as a new ecosystem with strong tech, Monad is set up for huge growth once market conditions improve. Extreme value.

Wow. Looks like Sky's USDS and DAI being removed as collateral from Aave. Interestingly, Liquity's LUSD is still eligible. LUSD is exactly the same as when it launched 4 years ago. It's immutable and autonomous. Whereas USDS and DAI can change their backing.
Aave vote to no longer accept USDS as collateral and increase Reserve Factor to 25% appears to be a sure thing with 99.6% voting in favor and 8 hours left. Notable reputational blow for Maker/Sky. I wonder if DAI will follow, since DAI and USDS have the same backing.

One of the reasons I hold @LiquityProtocol / $LQTY is for insurance. I believe Tether is safe, but if anything funny were to ever happen LQTY would soar. Liquity issues immutable stablecoins that can never be undercollateralized and never be frozen.
The Tether folks are in the early innings of running a massive interest rate trade. How I read this audit is they think the Fed will cut rates which crushes their interest income. In response, they are buying gold and $BTC that should in theory moon as the price of money falls.
