Today is the feast day of #StMartin, to whom our cathedral is dedicated. Patron saint of soldiers & anti-poverty, he was a 4th century Roman soldier who gave half his cloak to a beggar in the snow, later revealed to be Christ. Come and see his story in our stunning Whall window.

Let us remember before God and commend to his safe keeping: Those who have died for their country in war. Those whom we knew, and whose memory we treasure and all whose names we shall never know. 'When you go home, tell them of us, and say For your tomorrow we gave our today.'
