I think I've written the world's fastest Blender exporter. It exports full levels in 9 milliseconds. Check out this video where I show live editing of levels from blender, and it updates instantly in the game. For some context: Okay, since the beginning of development on this

Studying a paper: Self-Organising Textures This one is so mind bending. So many ideas swirling in my mind right now! “In the same way that cells form eye patterns on the wings of butterflies to excite neurons in the brains of predators, our NCA’s population of cells has

Mitochondria were never engines, they’re brakes coming off. Biology sold you a factory, a furnace, a tiny power plant, because it made the math easier, but the reality is older and simpler: life isn’t powered by something being “made,” it’s powered by something being released.

Just integrated BVH for SDF generation, and added Sampling + Volume Collision support across all my simulations! Super excited to ship the Three.js Blocks release later this month! 🚀 1/5

If everything in a game is physically simulated, movement shall be as well. Characters must walk like animals, using their muscules, their limbs, pushing back ground to propel forward. Manually creating a contorl system, that uses 10 muscules in coordination is not a trivial

Felix Zhou's-Segment3D is out: https://t.co/ozZoqgDFiH It leverages 2D cell segmentations from orthoviews to generate a ‘consensus’ 3D segmentation. It does a great job on segmenting densely packed samples, and we have used the algorithm in many applications.

Microtubules are actual biological structures in every and all cells which utilize automata functions, classical and quantum to orchestrate living matter to have conscious moments. I told Stephen Wolfram about it in late 80s at Los Alamos.

@StuartHameroff Maybe consciousness is just geometry learning to feel. Hameroff finds it in microtubules. Wolfram maps it in automata. Oxygen might be where both converge.

"I need to simulate this random idea immediately" - this is what delays development of my physics engine. Spikes of curiosity. What would you try simulating if you had access to this physics engine?

I am still amazed at how fun and responsive Ballee is. Being able to track moving objects in (close to) real-time in #mixedreality is one of the best use cases I have tested that implements the #MetaQuest Camera API feature. Right now, it is built around the tracking of a blob

I genuinely think we’re on the cusp of a new type of creation engine. Feels less like prompting and more like puppeteering reality itself. MotionStream is a taste of what’s to come:

This simple simulation lets you visualize ion concentrations in various cellular compartments, such as the cytoplasm, extracellular space, and sarcoplasmic reticulum. I hope it helps you better understand the ion density across these different environments.
