I recently read Adrew Forrest's motivation behind this - deadly #climatechange & specifically #lethalhumidity. That's when the human body can't sweat so you die within 6 hours. and it happens at ~35C and 100% humidity. IMO @FortescueNews showing real leadership here.
This is our plan for how we will reach #RealZero by 2030. No #greenwashing. No voluntary offsets. No tricks. Just eliminating #FossilFuels wherever we can, as fast as we can. Take a look. ⬇️

After Cove was kidnapped, solar energy was only resurrected in the 1950s. Using Wright's law, Sugandha proposes a thought experiment. What if this 40 year tech gap never happened? . Solar could have been cheaper than coal ~15 yrs earlier. 2/3.

When was the solar panel patented & commercialized? . 1970? 1950? Nope. It was 1906! . But its inventor was kidnapped - maybe by fossil fuel interests - & told to shut down. @sugandhasri @TheSmithSchool explores the true story of George Cove. 🧵1/3.
