Not sure about ‘evil old Trots’ but the situation at Wanstead High - my daughter’s school - has been going on too long now with no resolution in sight.
The militant NEU-backed hostage holding of East London school pupils ahead of their GCSEs is a national scandal! Worse, these evil old Trots are using the smokescreen of the strike to fight personal battles and settle old scores at the expense of kids.

My car’s wing mirrors have gone awry. If I press the button to close them in, one does it but the other one goes the other way and vice versa. No idea what to do except call the garage which is a DISASTER in January.

Had a nice weekend doing local, cultural things. Y’day saw my cousin in @woodhouseplays production of Almost Maine (v.good) in Leytonstone & today meeting friends at @thecastlecinema Clapton for drink & screening of Hitchcock’s 1938 The Lady Vanishes with Q&A afterwards.
