Excited to share that in the #InVEST_EOS project at @EOS_SG and @NTUsg, we're thoroughly investigating cascading hazards like earthquakes, landslides, and tsunamis using physics-based numerical modeling! 🌍.
Did you know that not all #tsunamis 🌊 are caused by earthquakes in subduction zones? The tsunami following the 2018 Palu earthquake is an example. Studying interactions between earthquakes and tsunamis is a key part of #InVEST_EOS: #FactFriday
