My daughter Miranda's dog Ringo died this evening, fittingly of a broken heart.

We need continued Wastewater surveillance in Ontario. It is critical surveillance evidence not only for continuing to tracking COVID/flu, but emerging infections including the more severe Claude Ib Mpox declared a public health emergency of international concern by @WHO this

In a move of sheer policy lunacy, the Ford Conservative government is defunding wastewater testing in 3 days, on July 31st. Stupid is the new smart in Ontario public policy. Take a look the the curve below. https://t.co/F1exzGRHmJ

We've been told to make our own risk assessments when it comes to COVID-19. But our government is removing access to data that would allow us to do so. Why is @fordnation so anti-science? Why won't he invest in the health and safety of Ontarians? #onpoli https://t.co/heTqJEOEzj

Premier @fordnation can spend $1 billion to get booze at the corner store a year earlier than planned. Yet we can’t afford $15 million on an effective and proven measure that protects public health. Doug Ford’s priorities are totally out of whack.

OPINION: It’s useful, cheap, and poses no direct personal-privacy risks. It’s a godsend. So, of course, the province has decided to scrap it.

How to make a pandemic disappear. And keep people in the dark as to what's happening with Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. It's what happens when bad leaders are in charge. No better in BC.

Deeply disappointed to learn that funding has been cancelled for the wastewater surveillance program in Ontario. This has been critical information not only for COVID-19, but other infectious disease threats (Influenza, RSV, MPox, Polio & now H5N1) in Ontario.
