With immense sadness and heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our Centennial faculty member, Dr. Razgar Rahimi, his spouse, Farideh Gholami and their three-year-old son, Jiwan who lost their lives on Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 this morning.

Centennial College is not affected by the province's planned closure of public schools from March 14 to April 5, which affects schools from kindergarten to grade 12 only. Centennial will be running regular classes during this time.

The Ontario government has introduced back-to-work legislation to end the faculty strike. The passage of legislation could take a few days. We will let students know when they can expect classes to resume and look forward to having students and faculty back in class soon.
Effective Monday, March. 16 until at least April 5, all clinical and field (unpaid) placements will be suspended. Our decision is based on the principles of community safety & to support our partners who may be overburdened during this unprecedented & challenging time.
