the top is Perfect Colour to me - shadows & skin tones have a soft warm glow from bounced/scattered light, blues are rich and can lean into violets and lavenders. all of that just crushed into dark teal and piss orange it's so lifeless and boring

we need like a 10 year ban on pushing shadows into teal. wtf is so scary about warm shadows that hollywood colourists haven't been able to do it since the 90s
