Doctors come & go Resus NURSES are the best potential source of continuity & consistency of how resuscitation is provided in the ED Invest in them & they become dependable guarantors of quality, safety & excellence But only if supported & empowered by the medical leadership

Nurses in ED Undress your patients into a gown, especially if they are in resus. I understand things are different and the question is, if the patient then ends up in a corridor etc but that isn’t a reason not to undress in the first place- trust me you will miss things!
@traumacareuk conference today - sitting in the “Dilemmas in EM program” today. Currently @ashleighlowther telling us she likes her patients naked. Which in trauma is absolutely the right thing!
