By coupling P.vivax transcriptomes and invasion phenotypes we have demonstrated that band 3 is an invasion receptor and identified a list of ligand with PvTRAgs top in the list! Hard work from @KatlijnDM and collaboration @KrisLaukens, @IMTAVH_UPCH and @ljr_leanne IMR. 🙌
Proud to have our paper out on P. vivax invasion and band 3, combining phenotypic assays and RNA-Seq data! https://t.co/OoGqQwKOw5
