It's always wise to be cautious when interacting w/ unknown individuals online. It's good to identify the person on the other end. This research by @hdaylum et al explores using a self-ID tool to help doctors recognize non-patient correspondents. https://t.co/t9a2pjUzlj

Reminder: MA star ratings do not seem to correlate *at all* with the health effects of MA plans https://t.co/7QCVHxbIYN
For MA insurers the fate of reimbursement is literally in star-ratings. CMS continues to raise the bar on star ratings and it's only when the plans go live that insurers learn their fate. $HUM is sinking after one of its biggest plans was cut 4.5 to 3.5 stars for 2025.

Great points for job market candidates! Strongly endorse having community and hobbies in the mix
#1 ingredient for a successful job hunt: Job Market Objective Function. Without your own objective function, it’s scarily easy to accidentally adopt someone else’s goals. Clearly, maximizing someone else’s goals means you’re unlikely to reach your true optimal outcome.
