Since cancellation is due to “weather”, no hotel, food, etc were given. The next available flight is 36 hrs away.

When talked to the agent, some agents were given directions not to rebook flights with other airlines, and others are ok to rebook.

Another American airline flight was able to take off while our flight was cancelled due to weather.

Growing up in China, I never had things like chocolate or candy bars. Desserts were naturally way too sweet for me the first few years of coming to the US (don't worry, I have come to appreciate them now).
