Faster internet to be rolled out to thousands of homes in North Somerset

Today’s figures lay bare the consequences of a health service that has been run into the ground. The Conservative Party should never be forgiven for what it did to our NHS, but the new government cannot continue to sit on its hands either.

The Government has finally implemented legislation that will see a Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) for plastic bottles and cans start by October 2027. More than 50 countries already do this, including Germany, who have achieved a 98% recycling rate.
