I reside on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Pawtucket and Massachusett Indigenous people. This land was sold by (read: stolen from) Squaw Sachem, a woman leader of the Pawtucket, to the colonizers. She was forced to resettle in the Praying Indian Town of Pompanoag.
