If Herschel Walker were a woman who had an abortion, he would have lost the support of the Republican party and voters. But because he’s a man, he can abet an infinite number of abortions and still win a seat in the US Senate, where he’ll strip women of their reproductive rights.

Miscarriage sucks. Really hoping to see @US_FDA consider this petition to increase access and decrease barriers to the most effective medical management, because people deserve the best available care.

And this final pandemic piece is a distilled shot of the argument I’ve been brewing for 3 yrs. This has been soul-crushing work. We constantly forfeited the chance to do better. But that chance still exists, and we can’t afford the luxury of nihilism. 6/ https://t.co/KG8EuVcWKS

We found that only *17* medical societies released statements after the leaked majority draft opinion threatening to overturn Roe. In the words of aspirational co-collaborator @taylorswift13, we’ve never heard silence quite this loud @WIMSummit #WIMStrongerTogether

Okay, so I rearranged my whole life to avoid student loan debt, prepaid for my kids’ college educations since their births, and now everyone’s getting $10,000 forgiven? I think that’s great 😊 Congrats, guys. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Tube on strike, I dawdled to Paddington on Friday. Passing the old wrought iron sign for Pizza Express, I was reminded of an event 30+ years ago, when I got caught up in a drama that resulted in a divorce, two marriages and many changed lives. It began with a heart attack 🧵

We have a problem with RAT tests: People are using them to decide whether or not to expose other people to their illness when they have COVID symptoms. I am seeing this *constantly* in my clinics: “I have <insert COVID symptoms>, but it’s not COVID because my RAT was negative”
