More folks are turning to food banks and over 10,400 are experiencing homelessness in Toronto alone. We need better policies, not more police.

Fantastic conversation today about housing, homelessness and steps the province can take to address the issue. Thanks for your time @ToddSmithPC #OMSADoA @OMSAofficial @tusharsood2224 @ashakeel_

My biggest takeaway from the course involving #caregivers and #selfadvocates in addition to clinicians, was the importance of an “all teach, all learn” approach. Read our article here: https://t.co/tDdYru1fiQ @CAMHnews @yonalunsky

I’m curious as to how much of the low voter turnout can be attributed to inaccessibility & fewer polling stations, versus plain ambivalence. How do we fix this in the next 4 years?

38% voter turnout. Tomorrow when the Greenbelt is demolished, when our healthcare capacity crashes, when our children’s education is deprioritized & support systems removed, when disparities between communities widen - don’t complain, because this is exactly what you wanted.

There is no such thing as being “pro-life” while supporting laws that let children be shot in their schools, elders in grocery stores, worshippers in their houses of faith, survivors by abusers, or anyone in a crowded place. It is an idolatry of violence. And it must end.

It's one thing when a nurse is assaulted by a patient experiencing confusion. It's another kind of evil to be assaulted by a conservative govt official simply for advocating for safer working conditions. Ontarians should be condemning this. It's not okay. Nurses deserve better!
