Humbled & emotional when a student showed me their project for art class where they had to create a pointillistic portrait of someone who inspires them. I know I have a long way to go to be the teacher I want to be but this certainly helps me to continue on this path 🙏

So, I was very lucky early on in my writing endeavors to receive some tough rejection letters—these are from 14-15 years ago & they really prepared me to carry on with my submissions, no matter what. I can’t remember if it stung or not, but it taught me to keep going 😅✍️❤️🌻
