It's time to fight back, and time to understand the anti-feminist backlash that allowed this to happen.

This is an entire speech about all the ways that Trump is a victim, delivered in the middle of a pandemic, an economic crisis, and a once-in-a-generation moment of racial and cultural upheaval.

Today reminds us that progress might be slow. It might take decades. But no matter what things might look like today, it’s always possible. Happy Pride month, everybody.

Instead of criticizing the response to terror, consider how far you would have to be pushed to do the exact same thing?

Real talk. While most of us stay safe in our own homes, our medical professionals risk their lives to protect us. We gotta celebrate them!! And even though #worldhealthday might be over, this video is for everyone working on the front lines. My love goes out to you ❤️

Been homeschooling a 6-year old and 8-year old for one hour and 11 minutes. Teachers deserve to make a billion dollars a year. Or a week.

Not everybody can stay home, and we owe a big debt of gratitude to health professionals, transit and airport workers, first responders, and everyone keeping our communities going. Leaders have to step up to support people whose lives and livelihoods take a hit in the weeks ahead.

Applause could be heard across Spain and Italy yesterday as residents clapped from their windows to show gratitude to health workers on the coronavirus frontline👏 The nationwide events were organised through social media to take place at the same time https://t.co/bROVgqPnI0

Fridays are scary for people who need their paychecks to clear to make rent. @RepPressley and I have a bill to give working families real-time access to their money so they aren’t hit with overdraft fees or squeezed by payday lenders.

Our students did everything we told them to: they worked hard & went to college. Now they’re getting crushed with student debt. This system is badly broken – especially for students of color – that’s why @WhipClyburn & I introduced our #CancelMyDebt bill.

Today, many Federal government employees will go without a paycheck due to the shutdown. We hope to provide some small relief by taking care of dinner. Visit any DMV location this weekend (1/11 - 1/13) from 6-8pm and receive a free signature salad with your Federal government ID.

You're entitled to your own opinions in your head. But if you choose to express them out loud, it's your responsibility to: (1) Ground them in logic and facts (2) Explain your reasoning to others (3) Change them when better evidence emerges #WednesdayWisdom

This @annehelen piece on millennial burnout is definitive. It surpasses what has come before and sets a *very* high benchmark for anything on this topic to follow. It's profound, sweeping, and breathtakingly good. I'm going to read it again.

I couldn’t figure out why small, straightforward tasks on my to-do list felt so impossible. The answer is both more complex and far simpler than I expected.
