Mom turns 91 today!
Bittersweet though... As,
A) She's living 1000 miles away and has senile dementia (lovingly cared for in her retirement complex where she's lived for 26 years)
B) Is profoundly deaf so wouldn't be able to hear me in a phone call
...So can't wish her well 😢

A neighbour who knows how much I love plants and gardening, selflessly and kindly left these bulbs by my gate today. Such a sweet gift and gesture, it's wonderful that people in our community is so caring. This totally made my day and will look so beautiful in the garden. 😊💚🌿

Shoowee, I can't even afford a takeaway, let alone a flight anywhere. Those "hairdressers" couldn't have been doing too badly to start off with. There are many just struggling to pay lights, water & put food on the table 🤐🙄😶😒

One of the drivers I met on a taxi was a 3rd-year Fine Arts student... Our convo started when I opened the cubby hole to get the change. There were some of his pencil portraits... I was blown away... He had to give up his studies to support his siblings. He also did clay busts
