We know that online platforms have been one of the single greatest harm reduction measures for sex workers, we cannot go backwards

Members of the Labour government are continuing to seek legislation that would criminalise all online sex work platforms which will result in sex workers being forced into more exploitative conditions as it will be harder to work independently.

Some Nordic Model supporters wanted all online platforms for sex work to be banned and sex workers ensured that OFCOM consulted with them so that there won’t be blanket criminalisation of all online advertising

Sex workers have been raising the alarm about certain aspects of the Online Safety Act since 2021. If you are concerned about data privacy, freedom of expression and workers rights, you should be listening to sex workers
