Today, we are back in Parliament to discuss student funding for home undergraduate students. Parliamentarians and students in attendance will hear from 4 experts on how they think we can solve the current maintenance funding crisis.

Yesterday, we were in Birmingham for our West Midlands campaign day to meet with our members and get their direct feed in to our national campaigns on funding and housing, as well as help them design their own regional campaign on transport. thank you @ucbguild for hosting!

Student maintenance funding has lagged behind inflation during the cost-of-living crisis. Student foodbank use has doubled and we're working longer hours to make up the shortfall. Every student deserves funding up to the Living Wage so they can get on with studying.

Right now, young people aged under 21 are paid a lower minimum wage than everyone else. And some apprentices are paid as little as £6.40 and hour regardless of their age. We all have the same expenses - so we all deserve the same minimum wage.

LLMs are getting better, faster, and smarter, and as they do, we need new ways to use them. Applications build with LLMs have transitioned from asking LLMs to write to letting LLMs drive actions. With that, comes new challenges in developing agentic applications.
