The Shadow Crystals/Black Shard (which the Knight's armor may be literally made of) being able to stay intact in the lightworld adds to me thinking THAT is why it laughed at Susie. (not cus it's the mayor lmao) Because when Kris and Susie lose all their power, the Knight won't.

I feel like the Knight's weird, armored form stays consistent in the light world. Alongside that, I'd say that's why it's still able to drag Undyne to the shelter despite how strong SHE is. (cont.)
