Can't say enough about my co-authors @rcastellsg and @Yeates_Lab 🥳. A simple #proteindesign stabilizes a modular #EM imaging scaffold and the results are 🥹. We break prior size barriers 😶🌫️ allowing #structure determination of the small protein #KRAS.

Real world application: @rcastellsg asked me about the "Potato" button on the microwave the other day. I guess Europe doesn't have as many microwaves? I'd consider myself a fairly expert microwavologist, but constantly overlook this option. such a game changer!.

Concluding remarks about novice users reading manuals vs experts diving right in, struck a chord. Ties to research I heard from @AlisonGopnik with children vs adults using exploring vs. exploiting mindsets. Always keep exploring!.

Much needed call for action. My only gripe, current products are targeted at women, even this call for investment. Why not fund male contraceptives in the same way? Sure, they can't get pregnant, but it takes two to tango 💃🕺and 0% of guys enjoy condoms.

Watching election coverage on YouTube. Received an add telling me about curfew in place in LA tonight. It's NOT. Gov wouldn't pay for a curfew alert on youtube!? Public emergency will broadcast that to your phone. Be diligent out there, do your #research, #misinformation is afoot.
