Ordering states to stop sending out payments toward SNAP benefits while posting about the new ballroom. Unbelievable levels of ‘let them eat cake’ happening.

If President Trump wants to punish states for feeding hungry Americans, we’ll see him in court. We’re working with @MassAGO to make sure everyone gets the benefits they’re owed. Trump should focus on reopening his government instead of fighting to take food away from families.
BREAKING: The Trump administration is demanding states "undo" efforts to provide full SNAP payouts for November amid court battle.

There’s gonna have to be a bit of “pain” ie not having your home prices inflate by 20% every year… The boomers will make it. The young people will not unless we fix this.
The 50 year mortgage is a terrible idea that helps only boomers who don't want their house prices to go down. Build more! This is not hard, people.

I’m kinda back to the camp of if we can’t make sure the average hardworking American household doesn’t need 4 jobs to buy a house, afford children, can relax for a second, be able save for retirement Why the fuck are we talking about anything else at a national level? Bring

Bitcoin is your insurance to all of this political tomfoolery Bitcoin is a trustless, permissonless system - no reliance on political leaders or central banks. They print, confiscate, debase — you hold Bitcoin, where there will never be more than 21 million. No ceo. You and me.
TRUMP ANNOUNCES $2,000 TARIFF DIVIDEND FOR AMERICANS President Donald Trump announced a $2,000 payment to most Americans, funded by U.S. tariff revenues. In a Truth Social post, he said the U.S. is collecting “trillions of dollars” in tariffs and will use the money to reduce

The truth is I don’t know, and no one does…regarding what will happen with Bitcoin! But I do know how it works for me. My friends. The folks I’ve met around the world who use it but can’t open a bank account. Who use it to combat overnight currency debasement. And I feel

One of the first things I tell people regarding Bitcoin Not how it’s going to fix the world. Not that it’s gonna go to xyz price. Not that it’ll replace the dollar. I say just buy some. Hold it. Send it. Spend it. Receive it for work you do for someone. In action it’s so cool

The "bad actors" aren't the folks openly using Bitcoin in ways you dislike. The "bad actors" are the ones wasting months rehashing the same fruitless arguments, holding secret meetings about consensus changes, using fear of lawfare to coerce compliance with their desires.

Re housing and 50 year mortgages Guys we need more housing inventory. Gotta start there - incentivizing folks to be able to sell easier and increase supply for those looking to buy.

Maybe if the wealthy and elite in the U.S. put forth better proposals for how to address the affordability crisis and insane wealth inequality…people wouldn’t look to socialism! Do something besides “don’t tax me more.” Ok then what’s the plan? Besides your next stake in xyz

Comparing presidential nominees (and Trump as Pres) to Mamdani the mayor elect of New York is just not equal footing lol Everyone on this site is losing their minds about Mamdani. Just the magnitude of this is not the same as a Hilary to Trump etc

Why are people pissed? Why’d they vote for Mamdani? Why the drive to the far left, or hell even the far right? “When one has too much student debt or if housing is too unaffordable, then one will have negative capital for a long time and/or find it very hard to start

Another note for the democrats — everyone agrees that affordability is *the* issue. But don’t just talk about what you/the govt will do to help. Mention how the govt many times actively makes this worse and gets in the way of hardworking Americans providing for their family!

🚨Attention democrats in 2025 If they way you practice “consumer protections” is to build an “anti-crypto army” (yes which you lumped Bitcoin into as well) or if that is what is actually practiced at the end of the day. I’d argue you’re not interested in consumer protections

I’m not a socialist, or even a democratic socialist for that matter But seeing folks lose their minds over Mamdani and perhaps too much central planning for their liking but praising Trump when he does it from the federal government… You’re not bringing your best!
