Wow, I didn’t realize the music royalty rates are more than double for musicians and songwriters, when listening via Apple Music than Spotify…. šŸ‘€.@rickbeato.

@TheAppleDesign And, Spotify pays less than half the royalty rate to artists as Music, and less than ¼ the royalty rate of Tidal. There's no justification to ripoff the artists. Amazon, Spotify, Youtube, Pandora all should be ashamed.

A cool Apple CarPlay navigation feature that’s unique to all other maps apps, is a congestion bubble that displays how long you’ll be stuck in stop & go traffic. Great idea — especially when without Tesla’s FSD. šŸ˜‰

Narratively speaking, the tightest ending to this screenplay is probably the freed J6 protestors storming the White House to demand the release of the Epstein files.

Have blogs & podcasts (and books & Netflix) replaced this former magazine/writers nexus and decentralized it more…?. There are certainly those making $500K/year now…inflation notwithstanding. @BookTV @NewsHour.

Within living memory, there were magazine writers who made 500 grand a year plus a bottomless expense account for writing two essays a year.

Great reporting that blind spots are growing larger, caused by less thoughtful vehicle design…. And very few auto companies consider pedestrian and bicycle safety a priority. I wonder what percent blind spot coverage that @tesla models have…? I bet they rate favorably

This comment by Steve Jobs describes the essentially unfair artistic license taken by screenwriter Aaron Sorkin in the Steve Jobs film in 2015. While the last scene by director Danny Boyle was hypnotic, it was a character assassination that was obvious to Jobs' Apple colleagues.

Trump/Vance just cashed in their $100M campaign check from Vegas casino magnate Miriam Adelson. And this feels like a reprise of the ā€œMission Accomplishedā€ fanfare by George Bush in 2003. Remember, there seems to only be a 1% chance of you getting elected, if you’re not a.

No, this is what craven, bloodthirsty neocon warmongers sound like. Sen. John Cornyn was one Republican who supported the president on X, saying, ā€œPresident Trump made the courageous and correct decision to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat. God Bless the USA. Thank you to.

Before Star Wars was released in 1977, it was introduced at sci-fi conventions the previous year, to build interest. This is one of those historically-fascinating Q&A sessions with producer Gary Kurtz & @MarkHamill. You can understand why George Lucas told studio exec, Alan.

Wow, the original Technicolor 1977 print of Star Wars was screened at @BFI in London. Like a time machine, my teenage self is recalling that summer in the theater in Los Angeles, watching it.

George Lucas' "first print" of 1977's #StarWars was publicly screened for the first time in decades. Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy says it's "quite remarkable.". ā€œIt’s incredible folklore. When I came into the company, there was endless conversation about where everything was

Great reminiscence by Tom Hamilton, today, in the Cleveland radio booth, during the Reds game, in the top of the 7th, about maybe the greatest game ever pitched. Ron Darling had a no-hitter going into the 12th inning (of an extra-inning double shutout) against St. John's & Frank

We found the results sobering. A significant body of evidence - much of it public - suggests that advanced AI may introduce WMD-like risks to U.S. national security in the near future. That evidence is consistent with reports from many researchers at leading labs.
