The whole world has gone protein mad. Most of you won’t exercise enough to need to consume every item of food with added protein in it. You have been sucked into the expensive marketing trap. The break room at work has protein yoghurts, bars, soups, ready meals … yawn!

Daughter’s birthday today. Huge Turkey roast with all the trimmings coming up. I have the belly ache from all the rich food despite eating less than I ever have. Being in my 50’s means less food but fatter than ever. Being female sucks!

Daughter’s birthday tomorrow and she wants a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Date on turkey was today so cooking it now. Absolutely fresh and gorgeous unlike some I have seen being posted. Huge difference between £95 bird from M&S and a manky £14 crown from Lidl.

Watched a TikTok video of a woman waffling on about a subject that interested me. She was also doing her make up. Why did she use about 6 different things on her cheeks? Tons of foundation and shiny stuff. All buffed in until she looked plastic? No need. Is this a thing?

🧵 1/ We should talk about herpes. I'm always dismayed that a herpes (HSV) diagnosis is still one of those that causes so much upset. Obviously, the diagnosis of any STI can cause distress, particularly if it is a clear sign that someone has been unfaithful.

This and my pic of my festive STD giant microbes. Gold = Herpes, Green =Chlamydia, Grey spotty= HPV, Grey with hat = Gonorrhea and pink wiggle is Syphilis. 👍
