I have discovered the source of the wasps. It would seem we have a nest under the eaves (I suspect in the loft, but I'm not fucking going up there). Spoke to the pest people, but we decided to wait until they die naturally then remove the nest. I'm not poisoning pollinators.
Both early starts this week, I've put the under-cupboard lights on, made tea and car coffee, then heard a bastard wasp buzzing around the light and had to eject them. Wtf? *photo may have been enhanced for dramatic effect
