Many homes were affected in the recent storms. As well as getting things sorted short term, we need to adapt our properties, roads and greenspaces for a future of more frequent, intense storms due to climate change. Today I asked how the housing service is dealing with it.

Rent controls so important for East Kilbride - the most housing pressured area in South Lanarkshire.
The Scottish Government's plan to scrap rent controls in April will give landlords free rein to hike rents. At #FMQs today @lornaslater called on the First Minister to act. Unfortunately there was no indication in the response that he would.
