actionnetwork.org
As we speak, burial sites are being unearthed on Long Island and upstate New York, and no protections or provisions for securing the remains are in place. New York is one of only 3 states that do not...

@Ashley_Minihan @PSC_CUNY @IE_Dickens @Kristin4Harlem Invest in #CUNY students, faculty, AND STAFF + services and facilities. CUNY will come to a grinding halt without its staff!

Do the right thing @ChancellorCUNY. Allow ALL non-essential @CUNY staff to work remotely in January. Permit remote instruction until the case rate substantially subsides. #CUNYSafeReturn

In a time of anxiety and crisis, society turns once again to its public libraries and relies on them to perform the vital service of telling people that they have no idea where to get COVID tests either.

@ChancellorCUNY @ericadamsfornyc NYC's daily avg count of reported COVID cases yesterday, Jan 3, was 39,132, up 388% in the last 14 days. @ChancellorCUNY must allow non-essential employees @CUNY and the Research Foundation to work remote during this January surge.

Don't say you love libraries if your love language is dumping more work on librarians.

Currently CUNY staff are still expected to go into work this week despite covid cases in NYC being the highest they have EVER been *Spring 2020 likely was worse but testing capacity was much worse then *Right now is likely worse than the data shows bc testing capacity still sucks

I have autism, but I still got vaccinated for COVID. Why? Because vaccines DO NOT cause autism. Could you help me spread the word to help change hearts and minds so we can reach heard immunity and end this pandemic?

In #HunterCollege's oldest bldgs, many windows are broken & facilities is "drowning" in work. People are being told that 1 window open is sufficient ventilation. @ChancellorCUNY @CUNYCOO we need testing &/or data to demonstrate safety. #CUNYSafeReturn #CUNY #HunterSafeReopening

Sharing the #librarylove: CHPL and all Ohio Public Libraries were awarded the 2021 Innovation Award from @OhioLibraryCncl! While most of the world shut down last year, our library was there to continue serving the community. 💙

The line to enter Hunter on the first day is 3 blocks long! Hunter’s reopening plan doesn’t enforce 6 feet of space btw vaccinated & un-vaccinated people. We should demand more from admin & pass a New Deal 4 CUNY for a fully funded & accessible CUNY #HunterSafeReopening #ND4C
