I managed to sleep soundly while our house shook, and missed all of this, but thank you @RealJeffDouglas and co. for pulling an all-nighter for us!
Thinking about Friday night & CBC being an essential service. When Fiona was hitting & power was out, having a battery powered radio to hear news n weather updates was absolutely a lifeline. And listening to drunk people call in to ask abt the Sable Island horses was good too

This was our biggest day yet, Day 13 of Police Enforcement, Day 295 of Direct Action THANK YOU to the 2000+ people who made the journey to camp today. 200 people broke across the police line preventing access to Waterfall Camp, there are now hundreds camped out there.

@realsarahpolley I think we are showing ourselves to be who we are with each passing day and it’s not pretty. For all it’s talk, Canada is not leading in compassion, openness or equity. And I’m sure someone will tell me to go home if I don’t like it for saying that, even though I am home.
