Not good news for this reason.
There are bird flu vaccines being developed outside the US & we have existing vaccines. However: Other countries don’t have US vax manufacturing capacity The extant 10M dose stockpile is matched to the cow B3.13 isolate. It’s only 10M doses USDA & CDC: what H5N1 threat? MAHA

This video embodies the spirit of @CAHR_ACRV. Mentors, world experts, people with lived HIV experience, new and experienced trainees, many community members. All spontaneously dancing in one big circle together. THAT is how we make progress in Canada. And in science. 💜

At the @CAHR_ACRV meeting, again we note the need to decrease barriers to HIV testing…. Question for the HIV community: do any health authorities in Canada still require written consent? If yes, leave where in comments

This year seems particularly important as we see HIV research, care and global influence being dismantled in other places. Our Canadian researchers will continue to discover, now more than ever!

But on election day, your voice matters exactly as much as any other person. On election day, your vote is your impact. If you don’t vote, you are unseen and can’t have direct impact. Please vote on Monday April 28. 2/2 #BeALeader #vote

Every single vote has equal impact. Have impact. Vote. Let’s be honest, most days, the impact each person has ISN’T equal. It matters where you’re from, who you know, how much money you have, etc. etc. etc. Not fair, maybe. But true. 1/2

We have an opportunity to think more deeply in Nova Scotia, and raise the bar on understanding human mental health and community wellness. Let’s have more real, hard, brave conversations about mental health and community, not cages for people that need help.

We have to be more educated than to suggest imprisonment for people who need and want help. This matters acutely in a world where dehumanizing people seems to be a trend in other countries and perhaps other Canadian provinces. I know Nova Scotia can do better than that.
