Many of Calgary’s skyscrapers built in the 1950s, 60s and 70s have been updated over the years. But the most dramatic makeover would be that of the 1959 Bentall building (Barney Bentall’s family) in 1998. Before renos, it was a home for Amoco Canada and is now the Barclay Centre.

Demolition of the Old Spaghetti Factory location on 3rd St SW in @eauclaireca is now underway. The building's not really ancient, though. In 1962, the Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans Club built there and remained on that spot for over 30 years. In 1996, OSF moved in.
