"I put queer and trans characters in my comics because my friends were queer and trans and they weren't in comics, and I was going to put them in comics."
- Neil Gaiman
"It's a queer show."
I appreciate that the show runners for Dead Boy Detectives are being very forward and excited about this, but "Written by Neil Gaiman" is just another way to spell "this media is gay."
Crowley's reaction to Aziraphale's "Oh, the books!" is everything. The way he suppresses his grin. In 6000 years of rescues, he's outdone himself. And the quick peek over his glasses as he leans down, right at the end of this gif, watching for Aziraphale's reaction? He's so much.
I've received several asks about where I found the prints on my Good Omens wall. I promised to make a thread for where to find everything and here it is. ๐จ
David and I will be in character, dressed as our characters, sitting next to each other in bed ร la Morecambe and Wise, er, and watching all the episodes as the characters Aziraphale and Crowley, I think. - MS
Michael, may we kindly request a livestream.

It was only after re-reading this that I realized that Winnie very likely plopped down on your lawn and wouldn't move because she smelled you, a familiar scent from puppyhood. Dogs have an amazing sense of smell but also an amazing scent memory.
"...if there was anything that really pissed off Terry Pratchett, it was things being unfair."
I know they plotted it out together, but it still makes me sad that Terry won't be here to see Crowley and Aziraphale find their way through and overcome a system that feels so unfair.
Okay, but if Crowley actually shook Aziraphale like this it'd just be a flurry of biscuit crumbs and empty sweets wrappers falling of Aziraphale's pockets.
This is another small way we see Aziraphale not fussing and caring for himself in s2 the way he did in s1. Those s1 shoes are polished to a fine shine, but need to be cleaned in s2. There's also the s2 wrinkled coat. The eyebrows. Separation from Heaven has been stressful to him.

Imagine being so narrow but outfitting your social media presence with Pippin and Obi-Wan, two individuals who fought oppression so that everyone in their respective universes could live freely,
Terry Pratchett, Witches Abroad:
"..both sides were not talking to each other. Not simply not exchanging vocal communication, that's just an absence of speaking. This went right through that and out the other side into the horrible, glowering world of Not Talking To One Another."

Thank you. Imagine wording a tweet to eliminate an Asian artistโs name during a time when so many geek spaces are working to raise awareness of racism toward AAPI people.

I think in s3 we're likely to see some mid-length, post-divorce rebellious hair. Something that says, "I'm free and have no f*cks to give. Until my angel returns COUGHCOUGH"

Except that "gosh, I hope X was chosen for the right reason!" comments don't happen males are announced. It's a given that it's good choice.
"An Angel" really drives home that we're seeing Aziraphale's pov. Aziraphale never learned the angel's name, so it makes sense that we wouldn't know their name, either.
@swirlingthings
If he imagined this before, he probably pictured Aziraphale with that big soft grin, beaming, agreeing, ready to be Us. But when he finally made eye contact, this is what he saw instead.
A GO crossover where Crowley goes missing and Aziraphale hires the DBD for their connections in hell. Aziraphale offers a rare occult book to Edwin in exchange for allowing him to join them in the investigation, telling them he's an experienced detective. Cue chaos & regrets. ๐

KUDOS to the amazing moderators who remained dedicated to this account & kept it going! The entire fandom got to experience s2 together, no matter our location or timezone. The fandom owes you a huge debt of gratitude for the immense amount of work you've put in. Thank you!!

Looked hot, sounded hot. I wanna know if his halo took effort to extract because he hadnโt done it in ages, or if weโre going to hear what sounds like 20 million orgasming angels if we get to see the Great War in s3.

It's not what I would have chosen for Luke, but after I saw the film, it's what was *right*, I think. He lived through something horrible, lived w terrible guilt, and then lived as a hermit. That's going to do something to a person. You carried it brilliantly.
Safe to say today didn't go as planned. I'm having emergency maxillofacial surgery in 12hrs for an infected root canal that's decided to go rogue. Pet pics, Good Omens, any happy thing you've got is greatly appreciated. Saving replies here for pre-op calming.โค๏ธ

We learned at the Ineffable Con that this is also why the Crowley angel walks in front the entire s2 opening credits, where they swapped back and forth in the s1 opener. I'm so melty when I watch them now.
@FunkyTrekkie
I'm convinced he was terrified the entire time. Just put on the performance of a lifetime because his and Crowley's lives were on the line.
As promised, I bring info on the fantastic Thorin figure by Asmus Toys, introduced at SDCC 2018. This information comes from the distributor who attended the con, with whom I spoke about Asmus, as well as figure production & distribution. (Pics:

This moment, when Crowley doesn't raise his hand to volunteer, cracks me up every time. Aziraphale looks annoyed for a second, and then can barely resist smiling just looking at him. Smitten, I believe.
@fabledfool
I remember Rob Wilkinson saying at the Ineffable Con that there were tears from the closed set crew, including himself. Can't imagine what it would've been like to see in person.
@Mimisempai
The entire situation is parasocial. That day, I looked at the loudest people in his comments and not a single one had sent messages to govt officials, or accts of people who can actually DO something. I block every single one of these people with zero remorse. I hope he does too.
@EntEarth
Here's poor Bilbo, looking gray/green in his early production sculpt. His contract was *amazing* in detail, and there was hair on his feet, though that may be molded. (I gave the distributor a vote for furry feet, please.) Again, this is prototype stage.
Everyone talking about Aziraphale hosting a ball so he can dance with Crowley and touch his hand, meanwhile Crowley's redirecting bombs so he can rescue Aziraphale and his books.
They are so ridiculous I can't stand it.
Imagine designing a social media platform in 2022 and not considering accessibility from day one. I've been on the waiting list but this is a nope for me. There are plenty of platforms preparing to fill the shoes of Twitter and I'll wait for one that welcomes everyone.

As a fan who was here last night expressing my disappointment: Everyone is entitled to make a bad call and fuck up. It's how people recover and move forward that is important. They're likely unable to respond directly bc sponsor contract; this is the best response, given that.

As another HR prof, it absolutely depends on various factors in oneโs field. To OPโs credit tho, people feel far, far more responsibility to their employers than they ought to. The reasons for that are deep and go beyond $, but it is def an American employers thing.
After busting my backside all weekend, scrubbing and repotting, my little balcony is all set up for the summer. ๐๐ชด Iโm going to be living out here as much as possible.

There are whole theories cooking on tumblr. It's not just his tattoo. There's also Bildad's hair, which changes lengths. Different camera lenses used for the same story (Uz has at least two). And more. Lots of theories cooking that we're seeing different povs in s2.
