🧵 Unfortunately, I won't be working with Sports Illustrated this season after the news of their mass layoffs. I am very grateful for the opportunity I had, and hope to be back in the paddock again soon!
Here's a thread of all the interviews I did last year ✨
I’m sorry but if I was Perez and heard that radio from Max flat out denying to let me through I’d be seething. Think of all the times he’s helped him out and kept drivers behind to benefit Max. Not impressed…

Hey Twitter 👋
My time as Website Editor at WTF1 has come to an end. It’s been the most incredible experience, but it’s time for some new adventures.
Thank you all for your amazing support over the last two and a half years. Can’t wait to share with you what’s next 🤍
The end of an era 🥹
Will always treasure my time working with these guys at WTF1. It’s been a total joy. Thank you for welcoming me into the brand and can’t wait to see what’s coming next 🧡
Ten years ago next month I created my first motorsport blog. I had no idea what the next decade would bring. Today I did my first F1 grid walk, at my home race. I don’t say it enough, but I’m really proud of myself 🥹
So... I have started a solo podcast. Join me for a cup of tea and a fun, informal look at the big talking points from the world of motorsport!
First episode all about the new series of Drive To Survive is LIVE now 😍
How to listen:
Both Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton will be absent from this evening's FIA Prize Giving ceremony.
It does state in the sporting regulations (article 6.6) that drivers finishing first, second and third in the
#F1
Championship MUST be present at this event.
Back where it all began 😍
So excited to be freelancing with
@FIAFormulaE
this season, writing about this new generation of the all-electric championship ✍️
Can’t wait to get back in the paddock. For now though, be sure to check out for all the latest!
Since the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix,
@SChecoPerez
has scored points in every single race he has finished. However, he still doesn't have a seat for next year. Absolutely criminal 🤯
#F1
So unbelievably proud of these two 🥹
It was amazing to see their
#P1Live
show yesterday. The support was incredible, and it’s just the best feeling to see two of your best friends absolutely smash it. Well done, lads!

How cool is this 🤩
Finally able to see our gold play button in person! Awesome to know just how much work and dedication has gone into earning this from all the team. Thank you so much to all of you that have subscribed to the
@wtf1official
channel. You’re the best 🫶
Today marks one year since I started my dream job at
@wtf1official
, and I can genuinely say I’ve loved every second 🙌
This is only the beginning! 💫

Makes me feel really uncomfortable knowing how many of these drivers - who are at the peak of physical fitness - struggled severely during that race. Reports of nausea, struggle with vision, intense dehydration.
#QatarGP
Please can F1 give us a ‘shock’ winner in these last two races 🙏 We’ve seen a few over the last couple of seasons, like Gasly in Monza, Perez in Sakhir or Ocon in Budapest.
I know they’re special because they happen to rarely, but they’re one of my favourite parts of F1 🥹
Thank you for the invitation
@AlpineF1Team
. Although, please can you please make the livery permanently pink 🥺
Really cool to tick off an F1 launch from the bucket list though ✔️
Sometimes I think about how Charles Leclerc literally joked that there was something strange going on with his engine on the last lap of Bahrain earlier this year, just to mess with his engineers.
If only we knew what was to come 💀
I understand sport and emotion go hand in hand.
However, especially after the incidents we have seen today at Brands Hatch and Spa, you can see how dangerous our sport is.
These drivers risk so much every time they get in their cars, so to boo them is just low in my opinion.
I have no words. FP2 now moved to 2:30am local time, with the session expected to last 90 minutes until 4am. Thinking of all the drivers, teams, marshals, officials, media, fans, locals and more on this frankly disastrous start to the weekend.
#LasVegasGP
Nikita Mazepin has been given a three-place grid drop and another penalty point on his licence for impeding Lando Norris during Q1.
He will start the race tomorrow last, which is where he qualified.

Hey Twitter, WTF1 are looking to expand their editorial team with some freelance writers. If you're a massive F1 fan and enjoy writing about it, we'd love to hear from you 🫵
The opportunity is paid, and we're looking for individuals who can work F1 weekends and/or mid-week.
Come back from lunch to see a new F1 title sequence, Bottas has cut his mullet (😭) and Small Torque has made the UK Sports Podcast chart podium. Unbelievable.
That’s my podcast on a billboard in Leicester Square. Without doubt one of the most surreal moments of my life. Huge thanks to the team at
@SpotifyUK
for this opportunity.
Thank you so much to everyone who has shown it some love or listened. You’re the best. Wow 🥹🥹🥹
Isn’t it mad to think this time last year we didn’t even know if Sergio Perez would have an F1 seat in 2021. He talked about taking a sabbatical. Now he leads a lap of his home race.
Wholesome stuff 🥰

On this day ten years ago, a 17-year-old Katy created her first motorsport blog. She had no idea how much it would completely change her life.
This is your sign to just start that project you’ve been thinking about.
✨You’ve got this✨
Most people: spending their Valentine's Day thinking about their other half
Me: spending their Valentine's Day thinking about how good the Ferrari rear wing looks
It’s a sad day when Mercedes, F1 and the FIA have to issue a statement about people sending Hamilton racist abuse after his
#BritishGP
win yesterday. The statement reinforces that these individuals have “no place in our sport”, which I totally echo. Disgusting behaviour.
So happy to announce that I’m going to be freelancing with Sports Illustrated for the remainder of the F1 season 🙌
Such an awesome opportunity, and my first piece is live! Thank you
@SInow
🤩
I spotted they’d knelt next to each other 🥺
Also disappointed F1 aren’t doing more to showcase the messages drivers have on their T-shirts. They say drivers can show support for important issues, but then just go to an aerial shot of them all together when the moment comes 🤷🏻♀️
Super happy to announce that I’ll be joining the team over at
@wtf1official
as their Website Editor!
It seems mad that I’ve grown up having such a passion for motorsport, but I never imagined I would be working full-time in it.
So ready for this next chapter 👩🏻💻👊🏼
