Humanitarian crisis in Gaza has no centralised solution right now! No centralised power is taking matter into their own hands to make sure aid arrives to starving people. What's left? . Grassroot decentralised initiatives.

DAICO is a useful primitive imho, nice and simple!.
For the unaware, DAICOs were a model proposed by Vitalik as the evolution of ICOs to fix the relentless rug problem. The idea being that instead of money raised being fully unlocked to teams (amplifying chance of rug), the team periodically seeks consent from the token holders.

This is similar to how I feel about MM. They are squandering their advantage (and Ethereums lead to an extend) by not innovating and holding the whole wallet space back. I'm grateful for their early contributions, but its time to rethink Ethereum and Crypto UX!.

hm @aboutcircles integration into splitwise app (or a splitwise fork) would be very cool…. normal splitwise functionality for keeping track, but when group finally settles up, option to pay in CRC assuming you have enough CRC (and trustlines to the recipient).

ethereum hard forks seem to be getting more contentious and more difficult to coordinate IMHO. trajectory is def clear if we restrict to looking at recent / post-merge hard forks (shapella, dencun, pectra, fusaka and glamsterdam). this is not necessarily a “bad” thing.
