6/ ⏱️ Our timeline through Dec 2025:. - July: Cross-team specs development.- August: PQ-sig subspecs & Devnet specs consensus.- Sept-Oct: Client implementations.- November: Single-client devnets.- December: Multi-client devnet launch 🎉.

5/ 📊 Success criteria:. - 300 blocks finalized per participating client implementation.- Sub-second signing/verification times.- Full block pipeline within 6 seconds.- Benchmarking with structured logging & Prometheus metrics produced for future analyses.

4/ ⚡ Key features to target:. - Hash-based multi-signatures (64 hash chains, length 8, max lifetime of 2^32) as per @drakefjustin's targets.- Poseidon2 hashing.- Existing SSZ serialization.- QUIC transport on IPv4.- PQ-signing + block/attestation propagation only.

3/ 🎯 Proposed primary objectives:. - Prove PQ signature viability within 6-second timing constraints.- Trial multi-client interoperability on the new specs.- Confirm hardware requirements per EIP-7870.- Identify specification gaps through implementation.

2/ 💭 Our core view: We favor many iterations of "incomplete devnets" over waiting for a "complete testnet". This approach parallelizes implementation with specification development, tightens research-engineering feedback loops, and discover gaps early.

7/ What's Next? 🎯. Key priorities: merge blob sidecar PR, complete gossipsub validation scaffolding, collaborate with @zeamETH team on a draft plan for PQ testnet, and benchmark zkVM proving across multiple platforms. Each milestone brings us closer to Lean Consensus reality!.

6/ zkVM Benchmarking Evolution ⚡. @junsong_eth is updating SP1 codebase for full block processing on zkVM. Dimitris resolved OpenVM compilation issues. The team is exploring proving networks for more practical benchmarking while maintaining local baselines.

5/ Post-Quantum Cryptography Advances 🔐. @ch4r10t33r built a reference implementation for post-quantum secure key store ERC! @unnawut is coordinating PQ testnet planning docs with potential 3SF integration research. The future of quantum-resistant Ethereum is taking shape.

4/ Gossip Validation Framework 📡. @Varunx10 is building gossip validation with Sepolia block testing. @shariqnaiyer implemented proper attestation timing that waits for block proposals or 1/3 slot passage.

3/ Blob Processing Progress 💾. @KaydenML's blob sidecar PR is nearly complete and ready for merge! Once this lands, expect much faster iteration on subsequent PRs.
