One of the ways I know I’ve aged out of contemporary fashion is the number of terrible corsets people rave about.

My next collection was largely created during one of the worst periods of my life, and it's very strange to look at the end result and think 'oh. That's quite good actually'. Like, even on autopilot, I'm capable of designing a decent bra.

I can't yet say which side will win, but I'm currently stuck at home due to illness and have started designing a catalogue for the next exhibition despite swearing never again...

Sensible business-headed me: We can't do printed exhibition catalogues anymore, the cash outlay is too high, logistics are too challengjng and we've lost money on every previous print run. Magpie/archivist me: But print media is so prettyyyyy

Feeling like I got hit by a truck today, I am very out of practice at that level of socialising/networking. Zero regrets though, it was an absolutely incredible weekend.
