Quit comfy corporate job, learned React, went solopreneur, ran out of runway, got 1st client shortly after, got 4 more, hired help, raised $$ (F&F), hired bigger team, lost profitability, investors shaken. Current status: investors shaken. Current mood: solopreneur when?

My wife made some sourdough bread the other day. Told me to absolutely wait an hour before cutting and eating it. Ran upstairs, took a pic, threw it in @fal nano banana and sent her the 2nd pic. She called steaming. But then laughed once I told her it was AI. Now that's a

If you're like me with a ton of react projects, use this to list out react version in your package.json files: "find "/path/to/projects" -name "package.json" -type f ! -path "*/node_modules/*" -exec sh -c 'dir=$(dirname "{}"); parent=$(basename "$dir"); react=$(grep -E
There is critical vulnerability in React Server Components disclosed as CVE-2025-55182 that impacts React 19 and frameworks that use it. A fix has been published in React versions 19.0.1, 19.1.2, and 19.2.1. We recommend upgrading immediately. https://t.co/kue7kd0XEX

This is the best take. Only caveat is if contractors are absolute chads and can take care of themselves (client facing andtechnically competent). Vibes gotta be immaculate too or else what's the point
$30K/month has the perfect balance. Business is deceptively simple, margins are clean, ops are straightforward, and you can usually brute force your way through problems. As soon as you grow past that, every new dollar comes with payroll, client churn, tax bills, contractors

Email newsletters suck But I never skip "Tyler from
https://t.co/Z8QZCxbulc" and "CodePen" emails. Always exploring them fully Tyler's got the goods on the React / JS ecosystem. CodePen has fun stuff I wish I had time to build

Lots of backend work lately. Finally slashed around enough to get user id from clerk auth, fetch projects user is auth'd for from db and display in drop down. punching air when things work finally - sorry air

Not going to help my MRR but wanted to get familiar with framer-motion. It did its purpose, plus a quick seal cameo because why not Ya it don't make sense https://t.co/wYoCwFhdaO

Its crazy when coding for months (noob) and you run into a problem that you fix relatively fast compared to the last time. Installed Sass on my NextJS (T3) and had a couple issues. Navigated around config files like πͺπͺ. Last time it was pot shots everywhere hoping smth hit

It appears to me that sass is the way to rapidly implement standard / beautiful designs into websites. @KevinJPowell 's BeyondCSS course is phenomenal. Walking away with a template to use on all future PoCs

This dude has some spicy takes but often hits the π
on the π§. Started my dev learning ~5 mo ago. Quit my prof eng job 2 months ago. Progressing dev every single day while exploring world with wifey. Expect more X's
Biggest benefit you have starting out in anything is being a noob and not knowing anything If youβd share that true honest story itβs super authentic and people love to hear that But nobody does Instead I see people on social media faking being succesful with 100 followers
