MEMS技術を利用した驚きの製品の1つがEUVペリクル。これはレチクルを保護する薄い自立膜で、110 mm×144 mmと結構大きいのに厚さは50 nm以下。大阪・関西万博の大屋根リング内全体に厚さ0.2 mmの覆いを付けるようなもの。Siウェーハ上にSiN／ポリSiまたはCNTを成膜してMEMS製造プロセスでリリースする。
