In over 20 states, there are now Trump abortion bans. When Congress passes a bill to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade, as president, I will proudly sign it into law.

Check out this new research on the links between animal/human epidemiology in urban areas. Our own Kim Vander Waal was part of the team making this discovery. @umnCVM @k_vanderwaal #UMNresearch #driventodiscover

In my opinion, we need to see DOE's basis for conclusion. In general, intelligence agencies are equipped to examine human-driven phenomena (purposeful actions with nefarious intent) than natural phenomena (i.e., pathogen transmission both within and between species)

Further, the study finds a strong spatial linkage between early human cases & positive environmental samples to the side of the market where live animals were kept

After recent chatter about DOE's self-stated "low-confidence" conclusion (no evidence presented) on the lab-origin of SARS-COV2, below is an exhaustive epi investigation placing the origin at a live animal market...

Where did the pandemic begin? Was it from nature or a lab? Since the start, this fundamental question has gone unanswered. Until now. Out in @ScienceMagazine: SARS-CoV-2 emerged into humans via the live animal trade at the Huanan Seafood Market. https://t.co/hnl9j3E6j6

So...the DOE decided that SARS-CoV-2 originated with a "lab leak." The available evidence shows overwhelmingly that the pandemic started at Huanan market via zoonosis. But affirmative evidence of lab origin could change my view. What kind of evidence? 🧡 https://t.co/xElr9J4Mdk

The conclusion, which was made with β€œlow confidence,” came as America’s intelligence agencies remained divided over the origins of the coronavirus.

You seem to like my posts and cheatsheets about scientific writing! But while this cheatsheet outlines the overall structure of the introduction and discussion, it doesn't say much about how to structure a paragraph. My next post is exactly on that: https://t.co/HkZZjmNGG3
