The Whitman baseball community is mourning the loss of a longtime team parent Doug Cashmere. Mr. Cashmere has done so much behind the scenes of our program with updating our field, equipment, bringing families together and organizing our community nights. Our hearts are broken.

Just after 8:45 a.m. three WPD officers responded to the CFCC Parking Deck in reference to a 50 y/o female preparing to take her own life. They arrived just as she was about to jump and caught her through a railing, working together to hoist her back over the rail to safety (1/2)
