The Arctic is changing rapidly. Especially so in places like Qikiqtaruk in the Canadian Arctic. Weโre working on an interactive story from this place that lets you experience some of the key environmental consequences of climate change up close.

Great to see our team's project on Arctic Climate Change reaching different audiences! #Qikiqtaruk @TeamShrub @ivarstudios @nwtresearch @InsideNatGeo @MeridianTree @ArcticBasecamp @ARC_AU @CharterArctic
Our recent encounter with VX technology at the @ArcticBasecamp was nothing short of revolutionary. By simulating the immersion of water flooding in #Qikiqtaruk, VX brings the stark reality of #climatechange closer than ever. This technology is not just showing us the future; it's

Happy New Year all๐ Just a reminder about this exciting opportunity to join @MegaFaunaMe, myself and the rest of the @wild_soil and @EconovoAU teams at @AarhusUni_int to model the effects of rewilding on ecosystem carbon dynamics and storage๐ฆ๐ฑ๐๐ชฑ๐ฆฌ๐ฒ Deadline is Febuary 1st
Interested in applying your modelling skills to understand how #largeanimals affect #soil and #ecosystem #carbon dynamics and storage in #rewilding landscapes? Excited to share this opportunity in Aarhus with the WildSoil team, including @MegaFaunaMe and myself. Please share!

Really valuable insights and visualization tools for the VT flooding by @evandethier #VTFlood2023
I made an app to map the floods in Vermont. There's almost 100% state coverage by satellite images from midday July 11. I added typical summer images so you can compare. Zoom, search, turn layers on/off! Default view is major flooding in Montpelier, VT. https://t.co/5IugF61bpb

Satellite views of the Vermont floods are just out, and they show some of the historic damage to roads and infrastructure. Here, the muddy Otter Creek causes extensive flooding by Rutland, VT. The normal channel is a thin line through the floodwaters. from midday July 11.

Southern Vermont experienced catastrophic, generational flooding during Tropical Storm Irene. Unbelievably, flooding yesterday and today was worse in some places. Townshend Dam (pictured) held just 1% of its maximum capacity on July 9th. Two days later it's at 82% and rising!
