Does anyone know Harmony Korine? I'd like to host a Trash Humpers Sweet 16 party at Light Matter this year. How do I make this happen? I have no money and will pay in Genesee 30 packs. Happy to screen in our local bar with no audience.

In response to NYT, I called for contributors to submit 15 titles for Best Experimental Cinema of the 21st Century. 109 ballots w 940 films + 550 artists later, these are the results. Huge thanks to @FilmmakerMag for stepping up to publish!.

I've received queries about individual lists. Some contributors agreed to share, others didn't. I can compile + publish independently (maybe on LM site?), but it will take time. Getting this together has been a big lift. 1000+ LM submissions & rapidly approaching semester await.

Maybe should have limited to one film per artist. If you’re still composing your list, I’ll suggest that as advice(for having you favs represented), not a directive. You do you.

More voters wanted. Also. Yall. Best of 21st century. This is a consensus building list. If your list has 5 films by the same filmmaker, your advocacy is actually not effective. I don’t have a publisher and most folks don’t want names on the lists. Reconsider strategy.
