The potency of the GLP-1 drugs for weight loss keeps increasing. Retatrutide is a triple receptor agonist with no clearcut plateau. There are already quadruple receptors in the pipeline. https://t.co/Y4ptCCbeFn

It bothers me that this is being marketed to pediatricians. Oatmilk is full of excess carbohydrate. I don't think we need more kids to drink oatmilk in the face of an obesity epidemic. Anyone who wears a CGM (with or without diabetes) can attest to the glucose spikes with oatmilk

When asked for a quote to accompany a photo of him recently, Bartlett was instructed to keep it brief, even though his career had been anything but. “Surgeon scientists solve big, clinical problems,” he responded. https://t.co/UAjbNf7gtt

Artificial Intelligence will not transform anything about healthcare until we have better data exchange and clean data pipes. Long live the fax machine unfortunately 4/ #EHR #HIT #ai #design #fail

Also using health information exchange in the EHR because the patient is from an Epic institution, but I am cutting and pasting images of the glucose values using the "Snipping Tool" into my note because there is no way to get access to the structured data. 2/

From photo to figurine style in just one prompt. People are having fun turning their photos into images of custom miniature figures, thanks to nano-banana in Gemini. Try a pic of yourself, a cool nature shot, a family photo, or a shot of your pup. Here’s how to make your own 🧵

Fabulous quote on AI, from someone in the media who actually gets what we have just witnessed. “In the aftermath of GPT-5’s launch, it has become more difficult to take bombastic predictions about A.I. at face value, and the views of critics like Marcus seem increasingly

Metformin, the first line drug for Type 2 diabetes, has been used for 60 years without a clearcut mechanism of action. It turns out it's not just reducing glucose output from the liver. Metformin also works via the brain

2/ China isn’t focused on chasing hype. No new tool. No new app. No new demo. AI is being integrated at the infrastructure level: Manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, public services It’s not just a trend. It’s a marathon for them.
