Just got my dissertation from the printer in prep for my defense. "A Tragedy of Catastrophic Proportions: The US and the Palestinian Nakba, 1947-1949." 559 pages of mostly never before published material showing the US knew in detail about Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

This is perhaps the most appalling statement from a member of Congress since I have been here. He is reveling in bigotry, confident of his party's support.

Israel has killed 249 journalists in the last 2 years. That's more than were killed in WWII & the Vietnam War put together. A Vermonter, Dylan Collins, was wounded in one of these attacks, which killed another reporter. This war against journalists must be investigated & ended.

12 Palestinians in Gaza are missing or dead after floods & strong winds battered the makeshift tents of 1.5 million people displaced from home. This isn't a natural tragedy--it's the result of Israel's ongoing genocide, which includes not allowing housing materials & equipment.

Trump is appointing a US general to forcibly disarm Palestinians to facilitate Israel's genocide in Gaza. This is unconstitutional: Congress didn't declare war against the Palestinian people. America First? Hardly. More like Israel First.
